Stephanie Lonon, LMT
Stephanie is a graduate of the Healing Arts Institute. She’s also been teaching yoga since 2011, but offering massage was the missing link she’d been looking for in her work. The gentle and slower approach to yoga resonates with her most, so it’s no surprise that deep relaxation massage (Swedish) is one of her favorite offerings.
Stephanie is trained in Neuromuscular Therapy, which is a modality that can stand alone in a session, or be seamlessly incorporated into a Swedish massage to release/reset specific areas of the body. She is also trained in Thai Massage - a wonderfully relaxing, fully clothed, on-the-floor style of bodywork incorporating acupressure, movement and facilitated stretching.
Massage therapy, to Stephanie, is a wonderful instrument to facilitate balance through the medicine of touch. In her sessions she provides her clients a quiet, safe space, holding room for them to shed the electricity they may be habitually and unnecessarily carrying. She creates the physical pause from their routines and obligations., resulting in a platform in which they may start with a fresh and relaxed sense.
Through gentle human touch, relaxation is possible and from that gate, all the more is possible.
